What Information Does Escienze.com Gather and/or Track?
When you register to receive services from Escienze.com ("Web site"), you are asked to supply, and your access to the Web site may be conditioned upon you supplying, your full name, email address, school, grade level, address (including city, state, zip-code, and country), telephone number, and a unique user name. Other information gathered may include information you enter in response to online lessons, quizzes, and other learning resources.

Escienze.com may also gather anonymous information, which may be used by Escienze.com or shared with third parties. This is intended to be information which does not personally identify you, but which may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the services we offer. If you use a credit card or other payment service (collectively "Payment Services") to pay for a subscription or other services from Escienze.com, we will continue to charge your chosen Payment Services for the length of the subscription term or until you cancel according to the Terms of Service. If you give us Payment Services information for any other purpose or to pay for any other type of purchase, it will be used one time only to fulfill one order, unless specifically stated otherwise. Except for reoccurring subscription services, Escienze.com will not store your Payment Services information unless you agree.

What Does Escienze.com Do With the Information It Gathers and/or Tracks?
Escienze.com may perform statistical analyses of user behavior in order to measure interest in the various areas of our site (for product development purposes) and to inform advertisers as to how many consumers have seen or "clicked" their advertising banners. With Whom Does Escienze.com Share the Information It Gathers and/or Tracks?
Escienze.com may share the information it gathers, in aggregate form, with advertisers and other partners. We do not intentionally release personal information about you as an individual to third parties, except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, as described in our Terms of Service. Upon actual receipt of a written request submitted to the physical address provided below under "Website Operator Contact Information," Escienze.com will provide you a listing of all of the personally identifiable information provided at registration. At Escienze.com's sole and absolute discretion, proof of identity may be required prior to the release of any information.

Escienze.com may offer a variety of discussion groups, chat areas, bulletin boards, and message boards (collectively "Boards"). These Boards may be freely accessible to members, subscribers, and/or the general public. These guidelines do not cover the transfer of information in this context. You should assume that any information you disclose when posting a message in a board will become public. You should always be especially careful when distributing any personal information in this manner. For more information about the boards, please review our Terms of Service.

If you choose to participate or post messages in Escienze.com's Boards, we may also collect such information as you choose to disclose. If you send Escienze.com physical and/or electronic correspondence, Escienze.com may collect such information in a file specific to you.

A Special Note About Children.
Children must seek their parent's permission prior to registering or using any of Escienze.com's services. Any reference to you, your, or the like, in conjunction with any restriction request or election, is intended to be for the parent and/or guardian (collectively "Parent") of a child under the age of eighteen. Currently, Escienze.com does not intentionally share any personally identifiable information regarding children under thirteen with third parties; however, Escienze.com may in the future without any additional notice. Parents may request that personally identifiable information not be released to third parties. Parents may also review children's personal information. Upon actual receipt of a Parent's written request submitted to the physical address provided under "Website Operator Contact Information" below, Escienze.com will take reasonable care to prevent the release of children's personally identifiable information to third parties and/or to provide the requesting Parent a listing of the child's personally identifiable information provided at registration, as applicable under the circumstances. At Escienze.com's sole and absolute discretion, proof of identity and/or proof of guardianship may be required before honoring any Parental request.

Parents are STRONGLY encouraged to use Escienze.com along with their children and to carefully monitor their children's use of both the Web site and the Internet in general.

Escienze.com does not and will not condition a child's participation in an activity on the child's disclosure of more personal information than Escienze.com deems is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity.

Opting-Out, Corrections and Cancellations.
Upon actual receipt of a written request submitted to the physical address provided under "Website Operator Contact Information" below, Escienze.com will: (a) remove you and your personal information from our database, thereby canceling your registration; (b) correct personal information that you state is erroneous; and/or (c) permit you to "opt out" of further email contact (except notification of changes to the service) while still allowing access to the site. Escienze.com may require proof of identity, and/or guardianship for a Parental request, before honoring any request under this or any other paragraph of this Privacy Policy.
